Twitter’s Thanksgiving Extravaganza

Last Thursday, the United States celebrated Thanksgiving. It’s a day of giving thanks and to come together with family and friends. And obviously, Thanksgiving allows brands to unleash their creative selves and create holiday-themed Tweets.

Let’s take a look at some of my favourite brand Tweets.

Sharing thankfulness

One of the Thanksgiving traditons is to tell yourself, your friends and family the things you’re grateful for. Brands took the opportunity to give thanks as well.

It’s always a great idea to thank your millions of Twitter followers for their ongoing support, so Domino’s and Starbucks did precisely that

Tiktok has a reason to be thankful: 2021 has been another great year of growth for them, thanks to their loyal community

The Skittles ‘Social Media Intern’ is thankful for the internship and the free skittles. Who wouldn’t love free skittles at work?

You can also be just thankful for the little things in life:

Parade

In New York City, they organize the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. During this parade, you wil see marching bands, performers, turkeys and massive balloons, like Baby Yoda and Pikachu balloons. XBOX and OREOs made some (digital) parade balloons as well!

Food

During Thanksgiving, family and friends come together to enjoy typical Thanksgiving dishes, like roast turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.

A magical Thanksgiving dinner happens with your friends and family:

Would you like a Thanksgiving stuffing flavour?

You’ve all just been Casseroled

But you can also have Sour Patch Kids for dinner!

Forgot to cook? This works too, right?

Or go for a Subway Turkey Sandwich

It’s Christmas time!

And that concludes Thanksgiving for 2021. Brands are already taking care of (business) Christmas. We’ll see a lot Santa-themed Marketing content during the next couple of days.
